Bachelor of science (B.S.) in Tourism and Hospitality management
The Tourism and Hospitality Management program prepares students for entry-level to mid-level positions in tourism, hospitality, and event management. The program prepares students to work in convention and visitors' bureaus, destination management organizations, conference centers, resorts, casinos, hotels, theme parks, theaters, and clubs.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sport & Recreation Management
The Sport and Recreation Management program prepares students interested in sport and recreation careers in the private/commercial sector, public recreation and park agencies, professional sports, athletics, youth sport agencies, voluntary agencies, campus services, armed forces, and corporate/industrial settings.

Concentrations
Students can declare a Concentration online. In order to earn a Concentration on their official transcripts, students must complete a specified number of major electives, a related capstone course and a related Internship II (and Senior Project, for those students whose curriculum requires this).
Students should refer to their DARS and check sheets for more details about their requirements, and see an advisor if needed.

Minors and Certificates
Students are encouraged to consider using their Free Electives strategically to earn a minor or certificate; depending on career and personal goals.
Some often-sought and recommended minors are:
- Business and General Business Minors - available through The Fox School of Business and Management
- The Department of Geography and Urban Studies has two certificates directly related to Tourism & Hospitality Management and Sport and Recreation Management
- Students can explore the multitude of other minor and certificate options available throughout the University in the Undergraduate Bulletin
